My husband Martin suffered a Hypoxic Brain injury following a Heart Attack in January 2009 and has been left with short term memory loss, mobility problems and behavioural problems. We were introduced to Alison in her capacity as a Independent Occupational Therapist & Brain Injury Case Manger and she actually listened to our needs and our concerns. Alison has been the one who has instigated the help that Martin has required. At a time when we were at out lowest ebb, she helped us in a caring and compassionate way. Whatever the situation, she has always been able to advise and look for a solution, often being used as a buffer between professionals and ourselves, so that we can get the help that Martin desperately needs. I would just like to end by saying a big thank you to Alison, not only from me his wife and Mark his son, but from all of my family and most of all from my husband Martin.
